Michelle Guzman lost her son Miguel in February 2016, shortly after he turned 23. Today, she keeps his memory alive by sharing stories of his spirit, his music, his intelligence, and the love he had for his son.
Michelle doesn’t believe grief is something we simply “get through.” It changes. There are still difficult days, but she has also found hope, peace, and purpose in helping others and challenging the stigma surrounding addiction.
For Michelle, staying unbroken means carrying Miguel with her every day — through the memories she shares, the people she helps, and the moments when she simply tells him, “Come on, here we go, you’re going with me.”
